Gathering eggs???

Since, I am STILL waiting on eggs from my 12 girls, I am spending my time thinking of other things to get ready for the eggs...Ready for the days when I might have 10 eggs in one day, when there might be blue, green, pink and brown eggs..... I have purchased the cookbook "Eggs", re-read the book 'Still Life With Chickens' and am trying to find the prefect vessel to gather my eggs in!

So, show me pictures of your gathering basket, bag, hat, shirt, cup, bowl, shoe or what ever!!!! Help me keep from going insane while I am playing the 'waiting game'!!!! Thanks Dixie

My Mom made this basket when she took a basket weaving class. She passed away 2 yrs ago so I use this:

That's a very nice basket Joedie.
I have several nice baskets to choose from. DH's mother was a basket lover, as I am.
For some reason I chose to use my pockets instead. Got a thing for the feeling of squished eggs running down my legs I guess.
