They are remarkably tame already, they used to crack it if I picked them up when I first bought them back from the sale yard.
but four weeks on and a bit of snail and mill-worm bribery they don't mind so much.
They have been pretty good from the start and all are online in regards to laying.

The eggs are white in colour, and the quality of the eggs are second to none, bright yolk sat high upon a firm albumen.
As a former chef I appreciate such things.

G'day to you mate. Your chickens look to be mixed silkies. - Silkies aren't the greatest layers, so I imagine they are crossed with a breed that is. Very nice looking birds. If you are curious about your neighbors, we have an aussie thread on BYC called "Australia, six states and one funny little island."
