G'day guys,
I'm a young fella from QLD Australia who has a bit of a mixed breed flock out here. I have rhode island reds, a gorgeous plymouth rock rooster whose name is fittingly Dwayne the "cock" Johnson (named after fending off wild dogs, eagles and all sorts of things, i honestly want to put a go-pro on his head to see a day in the life of dwayne haha), a black austrolorp, a double laced barnevelder, a few bantams, and a vorwerk (definitely didn't intentionally get this girl, just hatched from an egg i got from a stranger :') ), and a gorgeous old school leghorn i got from a the chicken breeder Mark tully who featured on "rare chicken breeds" and claimed that this line of leghorn was 80 years old (whether true or not i'm not sure but he definitely seems to know his stuff, he appears in this doco and is the first man who speaks
. I have a little knowledge but i don't know everything and am looking to join this group for some insight!
Cheers and looking forward to connecting with you all!
Peace!
