G'day newbie from Oz

G'day folks I've just decided to start a small back yard chicken run , about 3 or 4 ISA Brown hens , I've got a decent size area for a a run between our herb/vege patch & a few citrus trees .

My wife & I live in a small country town in rural NSW Australia , we would like keep the chooks for eggs of course , but also to help us with composting our food waste & promote a healthy garden .
