I have four geckos in a cage and one is a male. Well last night i came from the living room and saw a white thing in the bottom of their cage wedged between a rock and the wall. I saw that the other one had been busted. We put in in a bowl with vermiculite on top of the incubator. I put a thermometer beside the egg and burried one end of it in the vermiculite. It shows the temp to be 80-82 right now.

I have some questions to ask.

What will it hatch out to be judgeing on the temp?

Is is ok on top of the bator judgeing by the temp?

Should I put it somewhere else?

HELP ME PLEASE.............

put it inside, it's reading the ouside temp! i think i read that right.....lol

Wait, lol is egg in bator? lol Ahhh it's bedtime for me! Not sure on temp needed on hatching gecko's. We have them on our front porch, love our light. We saved one from inside and now it's on it's 3 gen.

Did you google incubating gecko eggs? Put it in bator!! no chicks in it right?

I emailed a friend of ours that is a big breeder in geckos. Lisa's Leos!

I bought a male from someone at a reptile show that she liked and we became friends from there on out. She said to check and see if the egg is squishy and resists. If so it is fertile and it is!!!!!!!!!!!!
