geese and chickens?

Thanks flockman. I'm glad they will find their way to the top its where I would like them to be. I wonder if its their size that puts them at the top?

Lol ya that would do it. I'm so excited for my geese to get here. Thanks you guys for reassurin me that they'd be o.k. and answering the few questions I had.

I have a goose with my chickens and he seems ok. Sure he will give a chicken a nip an odd time if they annoy him but he generally guards them, alerts them to danger by making a lot of noise, tells them when there is food to be got from me by making a lot of noise and scares any sheep or other animals away who come over for a nosy. He tells me when someone arrives at my door by making more noise and once attacked a fox who was feeling a bit hungry. He was hurt badly but recovered, I came out when I heard the noise and chased the fox away. He also keeps the crows away from the chickens food. His best friend is my duck, they are never apart. They sleep, eat, drink and swim together and some more. He does scare some people with his hissing and shouting though. I don't know if all geese are like this though.

My geese and my chickens are pretty good buddies! They all hangout together as one big flock.
