left pic is a pair. My largest breed are the Embden, followed closely by the Buff. I have kept geese myself close to 50 years.. Am usually pretty spot on judging sex of adults. Your right pic, appears both are gander. Young boys do a mating dance with other boys, the hen is only going to accept 1 gander usually. Over zealous young females will mount other females too. Bottom line... Look at the neck length, lobes, leg and foot size, voices. You can't judge sex by the mating rituals.
You have to decide yourself about ganders. Its not am easy choice I l know. When its a problem you have to manage your flocks, All part of keeping birds.Sorry, when you say left pic, your saying my ebden and the buff are a pair and the pic of the two buff are 2 gander? Not what I'm hoping, but makes sense, thanks. The 2 ganders are being really hard on my ducks, to the point of thru might hurt them
Yep, pekin drakes are an issue. I make sure my girls in a secure home. They can avoid any of the drakes in the coop.I like all my birds, and needed a mate for my ebden goose. Have had her for close to 7 years, but gonna have to do something with the two boys so they dont do damage to my pekin
I've always used Purina Flock Raiser for all my goslings and ducklings it's 20% protein or 22% . Never had any problems but I do add oats to it to drop the protein when they are around 2 weeks old to prevent angel wing.Does anyone know what percent of protein ether one one these goslings/ducklings need
