and it happens sometimes when they first begin laying hopefully the kinks will get worked out quick.

Make sure she has Oyster shell along with her feed. not in it but close by.

I put layer feed in their feeder, should i still offer some? they are really picky about what they eat, they refuse scraps, and want only grass and feed... lol That is awesome to hear, and thank you!

I still use Oyster shell only because laying takes a lot of calcium and it comes from their bones. She'll only use it as needed and it's inexpensive.

Looking at their feed, i realized i had already mixed in scratch and oyster shell with it.

That is okay but hard to tell how much she maybe getting that way, I'd just put a bowl out close by feed where it can't get wet and let her get it as needed.

She has laid 1 and passed 1 egg, there was nothing yesterday, and i did put oystershell for her, so we'll see what happens today

They lay every other day. so hopefully she'll be on schedule today.
