Those mandarins are beautiful. They almost seem too sophisticated to be ducks. I mean I like my tubby rouens because they waddle around and sometimes trip over things. LOL

Thanks for the compliment. I think they are beautiful too. They are very large. We have a few ganders that weigh over 35 lbs. They are my favorite of all the birds we raise.

Well, here is a photo of a few of our ruddy shelducks. I really need to go out and get some current photos.
They are a very pretty duck, they have a real pretty call, not a normal quack. They are close relatives of Egyptian geese. They also tend to be more aggressive during breeding season. They winter well too in our cold northern winters.
