Geese filling their pool with rocks?!

I found freshly picked beets in the goose pool today.

Funny thread!! I too find small rocks, watermelon rinds, sticks, and other such objects on a daily basis when cleaning pools. I used to use a bungie cord to secure a gate in one of my yards. Every few days it would be chewed in half and the ends with the plastic hooks would be found in the kiddy pool. I think they thought it was a great game and were very disappointed when I finally switched to a chain link latch.

Yep chewing is a great past time for them, you'd think they were cutting teeth.

I know another thing my goose like to play with. My belt loop at the back of my pants. She likes to sneak up on me while I am kneeling down to collect eggs so she can grab the loop and pull. Just about pulled me over once. She tickles me on my sides if I have a coat covering the loop. I swear she knows what she is doing. The gander as well as her both like to untie my shoes. They look so proud when the get them untied. Little monsters but I love them and they love me so all is good.

I'm sure mine would as well. I don't have lace up shoes - but they love my hoodie strings. Silly geese.

Their favourite thing to attempt to eat: Engagement ring. For sure.
