Geese filling their pool with rocks?!

Yay!! I love hearing updates about Missy.

Thanks Iain, I just love her to pieces, she makes the sweetest noises. I just am so looking forward to Sammy falling head over heels in love with her.

Sounds like she is really starting to warm up!
When they were babies they followed my yellow rubber boots everywhere. I have videos of me walking up from the barn and them following in a line, peeping their heads off

I'd love to see the video, I never get tired of watching goslings they are so adorable.

Sebastian and Arwen (Sebastopols) put sticks and small rocks into their water dish (it's a large cooking pot) all the time.

I give my geese and ducks baby toys. They love anything that crinkles, jingles, plays songs, or has mirrors. The geese even have a kids baby grand piano. Wedding bands and belt loops are a favorite "toy" to nibble on.

One of their favorite things to do is play with the jingle bells attached to the door that the dogs use to let us know they need to go outside. (Our geese are inside the house at night and if we're gone during the day.)

Geese and ducks are so great!

I'll have to load it :)

I caught the girls eating the bumper of the car last night when I was unloading feed.

Me: "Stop that Rosa!"

Tilly: "honk honk honk honk"

I turn my back for a second and there they are, back at it. Silly geese.

My Geese tear wood off my hutches, go inside my building and tear plastic off the walls...they also put dry weeds and such in their kiddie pool. I need to get them so toys! LOL

ETA: My new Sebbies are running around the front yard, so I can see them from the big window by the computer. I look out and see one of them carrying a bird nest! Silly goosie! I had to go chase her down and make her drop it. They love to chew on stuff. When I'm refilling their kiddie pool they will bite/nibble on the hose and sometimes even take it out. *sigh*

Mine do that last part as well. I have to hold the hose down with a big rock because they do take it out

LOL @ the bird nest!

My pair of Buffs put all kinds of strange things in their pool too, rocks, sticks, apples...They sit in the pool and reach out to the ground and just grab anything within reach and "plop" in it goes!

They also nibble on everything in sight. Anything they can reach if it stands still they will nibble. They LOVE the handles on the buckets we use around the place, and will even reach through the wire fence to nom on buckets that are 'supposedly' out of reach.

My geese are digging deep hole in their pens right next to the water buckets. I find the rocks, sticks, feathers, nuts, found a bungie strap in one and the a chewed off bunge hook. There is nothing safe from them. They go by our landscaping and put their head through the fence and take the lava rocks or the expensive rocks out all the time. Then they take the solar lights ad take them out.
Go by the bushes and shake the heck out of the bushes and eat some bark off of them. Next stop the play music with the upside down type bells. Go onto the front porch and star knocking on the house. They are like busy beavers each day!
