Geese screaming?

I have 5 Toulouse geese but my three eldest, around 6 months by now, have their adult voices but instead of honking for me (or when they see anyone) they just scream.

My friend who has their parents said he never heard of it before. It's hilarious but I'm just wondering why they do it. It's like a scream honk? They extend their necks and chatter to me when I get to them and they seem excited otherwise.

Mine are pretty noisy whenever they see me. They come running making lots of noise. Yours may be because they are maturing, and are happy to finally make some noise. Are they males or females?
