Hi, I am thinking about getting one of those Chinese domesticated white geese. I have one duck already, but I thought a friend would be good for her. (and geese seem a little smarter than ducks) Would they be a good friendly goose or would it attack me and my duck? Please leave any suggestions! Thanks!!

And a goose is easily able to cause damage if they're in the right mood. Just get Peter another duck hen

My goose Friday was viciously bullied by my drake for years, he just wouldn’t leave poor little Friday alone, until last spring when she decided to finally stand up for herself and thrashed him within an inch of his life.

A duck has no way to defend itself from even a small goose if the goose means business.

From your other post it appears Peter is a female wood duck. I would not recommend putting any geese with her. Especially not a loud, obnoxious, Chinese goose. It would really be much better for her to have other wood ducks to spend her time with. Call duck hens might do alright with her.
