NOW THAT I CAN POST PIX I AM DRUNK WITH POWER. Here are a few pix of Gen. Grant. Do you think he could be a Belgian bearded d'Anvir?

It could easily be an EE and have yellow legs. They don't all have green/slate legs. I would guess an EE as well.

General Grant is a great name! U.S. Grant was a true American hero and he loved animals, especially horses. He was the only Union General who knew how, and had the guts to beat Lee.
Sorry, off topic but I'm an American historian and Grant is my hero.

I had two great grand fathers who served proudly in the Confederacy. one under Stand Waite in the 1st Cherokee Mounted Volunteers , and the other that sat it out in a Yankee prison, walking home after it was over. As I stated elsewhere, it does my soul good to have a CHICKEN named Gen. Grant, although mine isn't a drunk. LOL

EE was my first thought when I saw him. Since there is no strict standard for them, I have seen them with a variety of leg colors. d'Anvers do have a standard, and have slate legs (in fact, yellow legs would get you DQ'd in a show). If it is one, it would have to be mixed with something else. So EE is what I would go with.

On another note, great name! He even has the same beard!
