I have Cuckoo Marans, and that is certainly a roo that you have there. The female Cuckoo Marans is much darker.

Well Pooh!! I have a page that says pullet and a page that says roo. Lol. It will be 8 weeks as of tomorrow, I hatched it myself.

I was thinking roo too, but hoping pullet. I have a black copper that hatched the same time. It has been smaller but matured faster than the cuckoo. I'm 99.9% sure its a pullet; its 'facial features' look nothing like this cuckoo.
