Gender and age help!!!

I would say the first pic looks maybe two weeks old tops, cant see the feather developmemt enough to be sure. Which makes the chick around 6 weeks. 5-6 conservatively. And at that age it is most likely a girl. However males dont develop pointy hackle and sickle feathers until at least 3 months old so before that sexing is based on comb size and colour and wattle size. Combs and wattles can pink up and still be a girl but if they get red and GROW then they are almost certainly a boy.

Also i have found that the redness of cockerel combs is more of a bright almost purplish red, whereas pullet combs can get colour but it is usually an orangey or pale pinkish red until they are much older.

Yep looks around ten days to two weeks old there. By one week old they usually have about the end quarter of their wing feathers in. By three weeks they have quite a bit of body feathers coming in on chest and back. So she is somewhere in the middle. I have found my chicks often have full body feathers by six weeks. At five weeks they are still getting their head feathers in.
