Gender and Breed?

This youngster is almost 5 weeks old. It was hatched in my classroom incubator, so I know he/she is a barnyard mix, but I am curious to hear your opinions about breed and sex at this point. I am well aware that it is very early to pinpoint gender at this point, but I am leaning towards a cockerel, b/c I think it was trying to find his voice this afternoon to crow......I love how unique this little one is!
Possible breeds? The comb, beak, legs and feet are green. Feathered legs and feet. Four toes and dark skin.

That face is very confusing, but I'm going to assume pullet because of the well-defined tail. I believe it's a silkie mix because of the black skin and semi-feathered feet. That's one cute chick!
