I have 7 that i need sexed but since silkies are hard (and i have 3) ill only be posting my 4 main ones. Also breeding for 2 of the 4 would help. I tried earlier but they werent feathered in so im back hoping their old enough now. Your best guess helps. ❤
Suspect #1- HAWK EYE
(too lazy to stand)
Suspect #2- Mischief (aka escape artist)
Suspect #3- Vampire (yes because it accidentally draws blood alot)

Only need the 2 brown ones for breeding. The other 2 are amaueracano or however you spell it. Currently trying to get raptor better.

First two are Easter Egger pullets. #3 is looks like a black sexlink pullet.

Mixed breed pullet

Mixed breed pullets.

Raptor and Mischief are SUPPOSEDLY full bred amueracano. I saw their dad but not the mom. So they could be mixed.

Not necessarily mixes. Could be that the breeder is using hatchery sourced birds that were Easter Eggers, misrepresented as Ameraucana. The breeder may honestly believe that they are Ameraucana, and just doesn't realize that they aren't. Hatchery sourced Easter Eggers aren't really mixed breeds, they just haven't been bred to meet a particular standard.

Mischief crowed at me yesterday. It was a tiny crow but you could see all over the face that "he" was ready to let it all out. Not sure if its a hen who just figured out the secret to crowing or what. But when mischief crowed all my big girls (grown enough to lay eggs) came running and stared for a minute. It was amusing.
