I’ve actually thought about that! Or another sport like agility or something but I think he might be too old and lazy for agility now but scent work would probably be perfect for him!!!!!! And even if I never made it to any competitions or anything, I can just get the scents and train it myself for fun and mental stimulation. Excellent idea!!!!! Thanks!!!!

Let me ask my instructor what kit he recommends. You should see if you have a local dog club to join.

Ah yah, no problemo with the muzzle. I'll hold him and Melissa will put the drops in. Then, still cuddling him, I'll massage his ears a bit before we release him. We did this today and it worked well. He was so focused on the muzzle, I think, that he didn't much notice the ears until we were done. It's an oil so it didn't bother him much. We also have to flush his ears with a wash three times a week for two weeks and it's cold and he REALLY doesn't like that! But we'll manage. She worked for a veterinarian for a while and learned a lot, plus she's fearless.

I have a gas oven that stay warm from the pilot light. I leave the ear cleaner bottle in there. Of course some one could turn on the oven without seeing it in there. Luckily my DH doesn’t bake much.
