I know they are turkens, but any guesses on what they are other than that? Any gender guesses?

They came from average (medium) sized eggs but are pretty darned small birds. Very bantam'ish. Age in pics is maybe 4 months. Quite friendly. No crowing or eggs yet , at about 5 months old.

At 4 months old, these are both pullets :) Congratulations!

Arent they gorgeous?

I just love NNs!!!! I think they are, by far, my favorite...and yours are gorgeous!

These are miracle NNs!

I ordered eggs off ebay and the seller did a fa job packaging but the USPS between crushing the box and not leaivng it on my porch (mail woman knew they were eggs and feared they'd get cold, d'oh) and a snowstorm that had us housebound for a WEEK...so anyway the eggs were at LEAST 19 days old, held over in the post office for about 10 days (weekend and holiday), 2 had cracked early on and coated the remaining 10 in rotten egg yolk & white. I washed those 10 eggs, then sprayed them with a weak bleach solution and shoved them in the incubator feeling obligated tot ry, just knowing they'd never grow. And here's Angelina & Jolie! a 3rd grew but was an early demise (blood ring)

They are very strong and resilient birds! I really love mine. I hatched out a bunch in December from my own chickens. Unfortunately, only 3 ended up being pullets...I'm so happy for you that you got two girls! They are such sweet hens!

I'll try and find some. It might have to wait until tomorrow, it's 11:34 pm here and I'm just about ready to call it a night. I know that I have a pretty good pic of all the babies a couple months ago...

Here is pop...

I will try and find some good pics of my hens. Plus some more of the babies :) They are very grown up now!

Oh can you help me with NN silkie? She's got spraddle leg (right leg) and is maybe 10 weeks. I was thinking a pullet, and her partridge sibling a cockerel cause I thought he was larger...but I had them on a playdate and they seem pretty much the same. So now I am wondering... She's still in the brooding box for her safety, name's Priscila Pearl and Elvis (or Elvira.)

Here is a pic of pop and two of his ladies :) Now, I really must get to bed...I just love sharing my kids :)
