Gender?? Breed Ideas??

Picked these two up today as rescue roos, but I am not sure that they are roos at all. I would feel kinda bad if they aren't since that's why she rehomed them. I already posted on one other chicken page. What do you guys think? Would you feel bad or return them if they are hens? They were sold to her as pullets with hatch week of first week of Dec.

At 13 weeks of age, those are cockerals. Pullets won't have that much comb at that age.

And they look to be mixed breeds...with obviously a barred parent in the mix.

The one silver grey barred boy looks almost like a California Grey, which would be a Barred Rock and White Leghorn mix.
