I bought a white call duck 15 months ago. She was always a bit standoffish... I could pick up the rest of the ducks, but not her. Interestingly, Drake didn’t mate with her. We ended up selling Drake as we’d had 1 lot of ducklings and were not keen to have more. Then about 2 months ago, to my jaw dropping surprise, my white Emmylou developed the Drake curled tail and mated with both my ducks! We now have 16 ducklings of 5 weeks old and both ducks currently sitting on new nests of eggs!!! Lou, as he is now known, is a mystery to me...

Questions.. is there a name for this type of duck?
And
what is he worth to sell? (Aussie dollar), can’t keep him as don’t want more ducklings.

I'm sitting here shaking my head and honestly quite curious.
If this would of been my situation first thing and only thing I'd be thinking is d@mn, I had that one wrong.it's a drake.
So how does that become the less likely and the idea that instead what happened was it was a hen that had a spontaneous addadictome and became a drake?
Its not just this post but I've also seen post where people swear a hen turned into a rooster.
What gives?
