Sorry I can't tell you, I'm in the same boat. I will say that my BR (mix?) looked pretty much the same at 6 weeks - s/he is now about 7+ weeks. If s/he starts crowing I'll let you know.

From the responses I got, it looks like a pullet based on the fact there is more dark than white in the stripes. But, I'm no expert!

Can't help you on the other one.

I think they are pullets too. Those Partridge Rocks are going to be so beautiful, they are my most lovely hens, with that beetle-sheen black on bay, even though they all look a little dorky at this age.
