Hi all, I have two Heritage Plymouth Rock chicks, now around 15 weeks old. Both have been slow to grow their feathers which I was sure punted towards them being males, but now I’m unsure.
I had also been told and have read that females have darker legs and males have yellow legs.
I seem by that standard to have one of each, but am really unsure.
Wattle sizes and feather growth on both are similar in size also. These two are really confusing me.
Is there anything else I should be looking at to determine sex. I thought by now it would be very obvious.

Photos for interest. Their names are Roxie aka Beetlejuice (curled toes) & Evangeline (darker legs) aka Burton.

Yes, females have dark legs plus darker wash, or just a heavy dark wash.

Males, solid yellow, they may have a small amount of dark wash.
