They are from a local farm, 6 weeks old here and ee/leghorn cross for blue eggs.

What color Leghorns did they use for their cross? If you were led to believe that these were white Leghorn/EE crosses then you have been misled. All chicks out of white Leghorns will be mostly white.

Also, if these were Leghorn/EE crosses, your genetics are complex enough that I'd assume not all birds will lay blue eggs. Firstly, the EE was most likely not pure for the blue egg gene so right there you only have a 50% chance of blue eggs. Next, if they were hatched from green eggs, that means that you might get some green egg layers as well since the genes for the brown pigments are separate from the genes for shell color.

Finally, your chicks are too young to sex, sorry.

I know, I'm the bearer of bad news.

I got them from my feed store but the owner I know and they order from a local farm. She said they were Brown leghorn EE crosses bred to lay blue. I'll take newer pictures when I get home. Thanks for your help everyone!

It's okay if they green or brown, I just walked in the store and walked out with a handful but I chose the ones with the flattest combs going is end up with at least 1 girl, lol.
