Gender guesses?

The barred one has some big legs on top of a decently large comb. I think he’s a boy too.

My neighbor has chickens as well and swears this is a girl, but the huge legs really had me doubting that Glad to see I'm not the only one that sees those tree trunks

Oreo looks just like my Barred Rock when she was little. She was my best layer for almost 6 years, but I was totally convinced she was a rooster, right up until she laid an egg directly above my head!

She had got up into the mesh covered overhang and I was opening up the run when she decided it was the perfect time to lay.

I think Oreo is a pullet also. I thought my barred rock was a roo, but nope

Oreo isn't a BR though, so you can't really compare Oreo to one.

Cloud is your only pullet. Oreo isnt a barred rock so I dont think we can compare him to other barred rocks.

Do you know what breed he is? I've had people guess he's a BR but I'm new to chickens and not good with breed identification.

I'm thinking more along the lines of Olive Egger or some sort of hatchery Egger. Not necessarily an Easter Egger.

His beard/muffs and pea comb make me say that.
