Gender help? A barred rock and a leghorn. 5.5 weeks old. (slightly pic heavy)

I'm 99% sure my barred rock is a rooster. I'm pretty much only posting these photos as a reference for others. The leghorn, however, has me guessing. Totally yellow comb, but those long curved tail feathers have me unsure.
I darkened the third leghorn photo up a bit so you can see the shape of the feathers better. Please disregard the poo and general tail feather grime.

Without further adieu, the questionable ones:

White Leghorn -- 5.5 weeks old








Barred rock -- 5.5 weeks old

Leghorns mature very fast. I would be betting that if it were a boy, you would be able to see a lot of pink in the comb and wattles. As for the tail feathering, hens can sometimes get slightly curved tail feathers and cockerels won't start getting noticeable hackle and saddle feathers until about 10ish weeks. The bird looks very female to me.

As for the barred rock, the comb and wattles say boy, but the color doesn't scream boy. Generally barred rock males are a lot lighter than the females because they have 2 copies of the barring gene. I would say this one is a boy, based on comb and wattle development.

I agree, white bird is a pullet, BR is a roo.

I feel like (s)he has more white than black in those bars, though? This bird seems to have a lighter feel than the my last BR pullet, which also led me to think cock.

Your leghorn is way too young to get curvy tail feathers as related to being male. Sex feathers don't show up until 3ish months or so. She's female, and the rock is male.

While I wish they were all hens, I'm pretty thrilled that everyone agrees with me so far. I'm getting better at this.

While we're at it...for good measure, does everyone agree that these easter eggers (also 5.5 weeks) are pullets? Their tiny little combs are still yellow as can be. I didn't get any photos of their tail feathers, but from what donrae says it wouldn't matter anyway.

Well I sex by color, not comb so it is alway nice to have a full body pic. They are both pullets though

The White one is most likely a hen because she doesn't look big boned in the legs and she doesn't have a very big comb .
