Yeah, it seems too much to be just coincidental, but who knows? I know grown birds are more expensive but sometimes I think it's worth it to avoid the hassle of rehoming cockerels.

Agreed. Luckily we found someone already by shear luck. If someone has young bantam pullets in New Jersey (especially northern), please let me know. Our only hen is lonely after losing her bff to an evil hawk.

Straight run, as there was no other option. Still, 5 for 5. Kids were pretty upset as well. :/

As a rule of thumb if ordering straight run and wanting pullets, order twice as many. But your right 5/5 cockerels if very frustrating.
