I only have 1 lone turkey and I am wondering if its possible to figure out gender. We only have the one and its our first, so nothing to compare it to. S/he was hatched 7/1 and is an Eastern Wild Turkey.

Named Solo, partly because it is our only turkey and partly because my sons claimed it and they are into Star Wars (aka Han Solo) lol.

Thanks for the help.

Personally, I will be happy if its a hen...the males kind of freak me out lol. I think my boys are hoping for a male though.

My guess is hen also. See the white lacing on the breast. That usually points to a female. We do not raise Eastern Wilds here in NC, State said no permits are being given for them, but we raise Standard Bronze and Bourbon Reds and on both of them the hens have the white lacing.
Also she has no snood and her head is not showing any red color.
