Gender help please!!

She says she got the eggs from the auction house and hatches them out. I have never heard of such. Is that just as bad? The chicks have been healthy so far. Nobody is acting odd but I have been keeping a very close eye on them

They are very "red" in color when I look at other comets. I really appreciate all the help!

If she bought them as eggs there's much less to worry about. And they may be something like "Production Reds." Odds are they'll turn into very nice egg-layers, no matter their exact breeding.
