Gender Help!

I am new to this breed. I purchased BBL Ameraucana hatching eggs from a breeder. These four are almost 5 1/2 weeks old. Any thoughts on gender or color? Will they all be solid black?









I hatched out these two pretty little chicks from my Buff Orpington hens x Brahma Roo! Pullets I'm hoping???

All of the chicks look like pullets to me, for now. All of the Ameraucanas are black.

Your first four are Black Ameraucanas which look like pullets for now. Your Buff Orpington x Light Brahma crosses are looking like cockerels at the moment because they have very red combs.

That is what I was afraid of.

They are very sweet, but are not completely feathered out like the ameraucana's. I was hoping it was the difference in breed size. They are actually crossed with a dark brahma, I should have specified his color. Thank you!
