Gender? I’m really unsure.

Trying to figure out if these are hens or Roos… the blonde is a mix of whiting true green and ameraucana. The other is all ameraucana. They were born in mid June. I appreciate any input.

So there roughly 7 weeks old? If so there both males.

Agreed, Ameraucana hens don't get red combs like that until 4-5 months old.

Ugh. Yes. That’s what I was thinking too… one of our girls wanted to sit and we had something (rodent or snake) that got in and stole several of her eggs. We did find and fix where it was getting in. Hatched 3… the third in question I haven’t gotten a good picture of yet… I kinda think it’s a hen though. Will post a picture when I get one. Thank you for getting back to me.

I agree with the others, they are both roos

Pullets at that age will have a very light yellow to very pale pink colored comb. It stays that way till there almost about to lay.

Mid June makes them around 12 weeks (I have some hatched then so I remember the date!)
