that was my luck with hatching chicken chicks.....75+% males!! I’ve done a bit better with quail, usually ending up about 50/50Guess I'll be having quail for dinner soon. The disabled one is going to my neighbor who wants to raise him for however long he makes it. So that leaves me with a total of five males and five females in my flock.
I'm gonna have to find somewhere with quail chicks and try to pick out females instead of just rolling the dice. I know I want to keep the one male. His coloration is really cool, but the others are gonna have to go.
