Too young. Brahmas are a slow maturing breed, so you'll have to wait longer unless you have an early bloomer.

As u said its slow maturing, but I heard Brahma hen starr laying between 6-7 months ..
Is it right ??

Depends on the bloodline. Hatchery Brahmas usually start around 6-7 months. But mine are out of show lines and usually don't start laying till 10-12 months and aren't fully mature to almost 2 years old.

Looks to be about 6 to 8 weeks old, judging by the amount of feathering, and the slight trace of chick down still on the throat. Still too early to give an accurate gender assessment, but looks like a pullet for now. Most Brahmas don't lay until well over 6 months of age.

Yes, Michelle O'Brahma just tuned into a boy at about 13 weeks! She was hiding the color on her wings, just a couple spots at first but all the sudden came saddle feathers.

I am not an Obama fan, but do respect them and liked the chickens name.

Now it's off to winter camp....
