Hello! I got this Silver Sebright thats 3-4 months old, recently. And was told it was a pullet.
It was sold with a Japanese bantam around the same age, and their personality is very different, and im thinking the sebright is a cockerel instead.

Im very sorry for the awful images, and i will get some better ones soon.

The one on the bottom of the picture (Japanese) seems very submissive, extremely quiet, etc.
On the other hand, the Sebright one, is extremely, very, loud. Also, very skittish aswell, more skittish then the white. Doesn’t seem submissive, and seems more rooster like.

Thoughts?

Generally Sebright cockerels of that age have far more comb development. Looks as if they were kept in rough conditions. Well done on rescuing them. Watch for signs of coccidiosis or worms.
Thank you! They were in very rough conditions. All that black stuff on the white one is just piled up dirt. Gnats sworming around them because poop is just caked on their feathers.

Gave them a bit of a cleaning and they look a lot better.

Some clear proof of my luck :lau
After JUST getting rid of a rooster, what do you know, the sebright ended up being a rooster!

Was quite in shock when he stood at the very top of the coop, outstretched his neck, and did some weird squeak honk crow.
He recently took a strong liking to being as high as possible, and loves to perch and stand tall on the coop. Also, Darling only bullies the white one, not him.

Sebright hens crow quite often. Are you sure?

For 3 months old, I'd have given my right arm to bet that's a pullet.
Im pretty confident. It could be so that it is a pullet, and that was what i was hoping. But all of the personality just seems to add up with the roos I’ve owned in the past.

For one, it is extremely noisy. Talking constantly 24/7
Then, Darling seems to have a lot of favoritism towards that one oppose to the Japanese, which im sure is a female.
Aswell as that, it just seems very dominant, and likes being in high spots.

It still could be a pullet, i have never owned sebrights so for all i know Sebrights just might love roosting or something. Fingers crossed this one doesn’t start mating!
