Gender opinion please!

This is a Pekin, around 13-15 weeks old.

Not positive it is a girl as we believed when purchased! Definitely top chook in our flock of six.

What a beautiful bird! It looks like a rooster to me...is it a bantam? If it is, they develop slower than regular roosters. But what makes me think it’s a roo is the tail curling downward instead of outward.

It is a pekin bantam yes.

We thought yesterday it tried at a crow.

It's a cockerel. A pullet of that age would not be red or have such a large comb/wattles.

Thank you all. Looks like he will be moving to have some ladies he can have babies with. Unfortunately we can't keep a boy here.

We have found a lovely home for him and potentially two new hens to fill his gap.

I am so sad, Dave (his name when he was a hen!) is a wonderful tame pet pekin.
