Gender please?!?

~this is a CROSSBRED chicken and I’m wondering if its a pullet or roo

5 months old

Cockerel...tho plumage looks a bit odd.
At 5 months it should have more hackles and saddles.
Almost looks like a gender mix.....or a slow grower.

He’s blue barred. Typically the lower half of a blue barred bird will be almost completely blue or blue and black while the upper portion of feathers will show barring. At least on my blu sex link males I observed this.

Do you have any idea what his parent breeds are by chance?

Mom is barred rock I have NO idea what dad is

No. He can from my uncle, I THINK his roo is plain white (so maybe the barred rock is a mix??)
