11 week old. The most docile I have out of the 11 and sadly the only one without a top knot or much of anything really. It’s time for me to depart with a few, I do believe I have roo’s fighting. What am I to do with this sweet silkie. Not a great pic, sorry. Can you tell me anything? This one is my daughter’s favorite because it can be picked up.

Thank you! We started this venture for her and she loves it, and so do we. Her favorite chicken is this d’Uccle
Agreed. That much comb at 11 weeks its very likely a cockerel.

I thought so. I got him on March 16 and he may have been a few days old. 12 weeks might be a better guess. I thought Silkies had a walnut comb ?

Hatchery quality chickens (assuming he's from a hatchery) can have wrong traits for their breed, such as wyandottes having single combs or silkies that lack crests.
