I am no expert but its hard to sex chicks under 6 weeks from my understanding but you should add better pictures of him so we can see better details

Yeah, I think it’s a cockerel. The head spot isn’t well defined, but instead it fades into the neck…usually that means it’s a male. Females’ head spots would have a specific shape and you would be able to clearly tell by the stark contrast of the black from the white.

He’s still small for my best guess but any red development under 10 weeks usually points to cockerels from my understanding, he is a cute little nugget!!!

That comb is getting big for a pullet cockerel would be my best guess but @aldanfac is right update at six weeks for a more solid guess

I'm new to this but I was thinking the same thing. Thank you for your reply. Will update when I know for sure.
