We purchased 6 sexed chicks from tractor supply. All supposedly female but one of my Easter eggers seems larger than the others. They are 6 weeks old so may be too early to tell. Hoping she is not a he šŸ¤žthank you for the help!!

Sorry to be the contrarian- but the red neck and shoulders, and irregular red blotch on the wing makes me think cockerel.

Are the other EEs crested like this one? With Legar heritage I'd expect the crele/quail partridge patterning with a distinct pattern change from neck to shoulders.

Fingers crossed for pullet though, my chicks are a week old so I'm in the same watching/hoping phase. First few weeks are the toughest!

So I have three EEs one looks almost identical to this one crest and all but is lighter in color and smaller. What is throwing me off is how big this one’s feet and body are compared to the other two. Ekk!

Could you get a pic of the other EE that looks identical so we can compare?

Cockerels typically have a much bigger wing and tail that I've noticed .
