obviously she wasnt asking about that "cockerel" she probably said 3 times that that is the HEN and mother of the younger bird. c'mon folks, get the reading glasses out.

the one that yall are saying is a roo is a hen (poster already told yall that she is the mother of the hen in front of her) although i say that its pullet pullet cockeral

Thanks for everyone's input, but I think it's getting more confusing. If the young Sussex in the top pic is a pullet, then everyone in that pic is a girl--all the rest shown in that picture are 11 months old. Thanks again!
