We thought Chickoletta was a hen, but she was posturing with a rooster this evening and my husband thought maybe she's a roo after all?

Looks to be a silver penciled variety. Dark Brahma perchance?
Regardless, that variety has distinct feather patterns between pullets and cockerels. That's a cockerel.

Thats what we were afraid of. That makes half our chicks roosters. He is a bantam of some sort supposedly, but the prettiest, fuzziest I've ever seen.
