I presume this is a cockerel, but wanted to double check.

How old is it and what breed? It doesnt necessarily look like a cockerel but the lighting on the pics isnt great.

Looks like a pullet to me. Zip for wattles and the comb hasn't colored up. Why do you think it's a cockerel?

Breeder said it looks like a cockerel to her, due to the size of the comb. Oh, and tail feathers took forever to come in.

That's an entirely reasonable comb size for a pullet that age. I don't know what the tail growth sexing is about but I'd go by the lack of male hormones surging over that.

I don't think this particular bird is a cockerel either. I'd give it some more time before making any drastic decisions.

No drastic decisions. If it turns out to be a roo, I'll wait until people either complain about the noise, or it gets too loud for me.
