CCLB cocks are double barred, so all the chicks are going to be single barred - even the yellow. Those are maybe dilutes? I’m confused by this, but I think they aren’t sexlinked.

I was excited when 5 of one type distinctly different to other 5!

Though, the fact that CCLBs are 100% autosexing - hmm.

I’m still not 100% that the divide in color has nothing to do with gender.

Those legbars are definitely boys, if they’re pure. Pullets have a completely different pattern, are a bit darker, and have a salmon/peach breast.

as for your equal hatched colors, my guess is that it would depend on the genetics in the hens. But since they’re probably a sex link or hybrid egg layer, really hard to say what they’d be passing along! Do you have pics of your hens?

Ah, ok.
The calculator said that all will be barred, but half black barred and half white - no gender correlation tho.

And there’s no chance there’s anything different thrown in, right? You did the whole “wait two weeks and then hatch“ thing?

Wow that calculator blows my mind. Unfortunately they weren't my eggs, so no guarantees in terms of parent birds.
