Hi

I have hatched ten chicks from warren hen X cream leg bar cock

5 are solid yellow and 5 are chipmunk stripe

Might is be possible that this is indicative of gender as they would have similarly autosexed if pure? Or is this completely unreliable

That cross will not give sex linked chicks. A red cock over a silver hen gives sex linked offspring, and so does a red cock over a barred hen. Neither apply here.

CCLB cocks are double barred, so all the chicks are going to be single barred - even the yellow. Those are maybe dilutes? I’m confused by this, but I think they aren’t sexlinked.
