And no, you're not an idiot, I have had my fair share of wrong guesses. We have a Dominique that I was convinced was a cockerel for quite a while, but she turned out to be a rather masculine hen.

It really looks like a 4 month ish cockeral to me. There's so much white. I don't, at all, think it's an adult roo.

I can't see a rooster in the face, or tail, from what I can see, and I currently have 11 roosters.

That's all there is. It was found in a parking lot. I have a barred rock roo and that's what he looked like, in the face, when he was young. Maybe, with a full body pic, I'd think hen. I'm just seeing so much white.
