Think most of you are tired of the newcomers and their silly questions, but all of us started at some point
Can anyone tell me what's the gender here, new to this. If anyone can point out what to look for or explain it will help a lot.
New to this.
This is black Brahmas that I bought from someone at day old, why would it start to show the brown feathers (one in the back of picture).
Does this mean that it could have been that a golden partridge made it rounds and now it wants to go back to that specific gene.

it could be split for partridge or something else too, or just a leaky bird 
Extended E locus blocks out almost everything so if it is crossed with partridge itd be hard to findout unless you crossed him over a partridge hen and if you get any partridge babies then you know hes split
