We interact with them daily. We are hoping to keep them friendly.

Yes they fight. I have the dad and son right now. And I had to stop them fighting each other yesterday. So the son is getting culled tonight or sometime this week.

If you want a friendly rooster don't hold him as he's growing. You can interact with him but only do it while the whole flock is there. They all learn from your gestures and movements. That's how I manage friendly roosters. It helps when it's time to cull them. Easy to pick them up from injuries or butchering.
