Hey y’all I had a flock of five chickens. Two have passed sadly. The three chickens always seem to be fighting. I was hoping y’all could tell me if these are hens or roosters they are about one year old and none of them have stated laying. I’m wondering if the fighting is because they are all roosters. Two are blue langshans and the other is a buff Orpington

I'm sorry for your losses and the issues you are having! I agree that all look to be girls, though they all look much younger than 1 year to me given the small size of their combs. Some further questions to troubleshoot:

Where/when did you acquire them?
What are you feeding them?
How large is their coop/run? Pictures would be helpful.

I got them from a Kahoots that gets their chickens from local farmers. I stopped feeding the chick crumble about six months ago. They get layer pellets like my other hens (I have 8, the other flock has four hens who have been laying for 4 weeks now). They also occasionally get scratch with meal worms. Their coop was bought off Amazon and said it fit 6 there’s only 2 in there. There run is a seven by seven and they have access to the coop all day. The exact date I got them was April 26 of 2021

Thanks for all the details! It is strange that none of them are laying yet, but their combs look somewhat undeveloped since they should be fully mature.

One note is that prefab chicken coops often advertise themselves as being meant for many more chickens than they should fit.
