Can anyone tell what gender any of my chicks are?

Here is Anabelle, she is a splash cochin and slightly older than the other cochin

Here is Charlotte, she is a gold laced cochin

This is Lavender my blue cochin, she is 4 days old

Then we have Louise our barred rocks, one of the oldest chicks

Here is Lucille, our silkie

Then Ruby a gold laced cochin

Here is Thelma the other barred rocks

If anyone has any idea that would be great, thanks!

It's pretty much impossible to tell the genders of chicks at this age unless they are sex linked or able to sex by color. You will have to wait at least until they are feathered out, to get a definite answer. :)

They are way to young to sex. Better to post pics closer to 4 weeks of age. Im betting both the Barred rocks are male though, due to the large splotchy white head dots.

Agree with all the rest, too young to tell--with the exception of the BR, which is in a weird in-between stage; you can get an idea by the size of the headspot with them up to about 5 days of age, but after that it gets too blurred out to tell, as has happened with this baby.

You'll have to wait at least a month to sex them, and some longer than that. Silkies are notoriously difficult to sex.

Of your barred rocks, I think at least "Thelma" is a male (overall light coloration) and Louise might be, too. The others are too young to sex.

I agree they're too young, but I'm also getting rooster vibes off both barred rocks. Post again when they're around 6 weeks.
